We are committed to growing and harvesting fruits and vegetables for our CSA members for the 2020 season. We will use our many years of growing experience to ensure you receive the highest quality fruits and vegetables.
By becoming a member of our CSA prgram you commit to accepting the risks involved in growing fruits and vegetables. In the event that certain products/varieties are not available, or only available in limited quantities, you agree to be sympathetic and accepting of the fact that we have filled your box/share to the best of our abilities.
Please note, selections found in the CSA boxes are determined by the availability of the produce. Members cannot choose what is included in the box, nor can they switch out one item for another.
Members commit to picking up their share at the location and time chosen at enrollment. Pick-up locations remain the same for the entire season.
A friend, relative, neighbor, co-worker, etc. can pick up your box if you are unable to do so. Customers who cannot pick up their share on any given week can also have the pick-up canceled or moved to another week (conditions apply, please see Vacation Option below).
Home Delivery Customers
If no-one is home to accept the delivery, we ask that customers leave the foam cooler and black box (provided at the beginning of the season) on the doorstep. If the boxes are not left out by the customer on delivery day, the vegetables will be left in an additional black box on the doorstep. On the following delivery day, we will remove both empty black boxes and replace them with a full one. Any unreturned or damaged boxes will be charged to the customer at a cost of $40 for the foam box and $4 for the black box.
Boxes can only be delivered to one specified address. We do allow customers to change the delivery address permanently during the season.
For customers who don’t plan to be home (vacation or other) they can have the delivery for a given week canceled or moved to another week (conditions apply, please see Vacation Option below).
We do not deliver to apartment buildings with an elevator and / or "buzzer" that unlock the main entrance.
You can request a vacation week and have your box moved to another week during the same season. For some weekly members, you would be receiving a double box during teh week chosen.
This request must be sent by email (email@example.com) at least 1 week prior to your scheduled pick-up and is subject to availability for that week.
*Boxes can be deferred once per season for bi-weekly members and twice per season for weekly members(Full/ Lite).
Members who do not pick up their boxes will lose the share box for that week. Their box will be donated to a local food bank.
Please note that a canceled delivery or a missed pick-up is considered a loss of the box, no replacements will be issued and refunds will not be given.
Members commit to reading and understanding all of the CSA information as well as knowing all of the risks and rewards related to being a member of our CSA program.
Farming is hard work and requires a lot of planning. The CSA program is a partnership between Rochon Gardens and it's CSA members. Rochon Gardens is committed to providing vegetables for an entire season and CSA members are committed to receiving their share for an entire season. Upon signing up, no refunds will be given to those wishing to discontinue receiving their share.
