How do I choose the best option for my family?

Please see the photo gallery of our shares. Depending on growing conditions, we try to have the same box content list each season.


Full and Lite shares are weekly and half-shares are every two weeks.


How should I prepare for my first pickup?


After signing up for a CSA share, you will receive a confirmation email from us.  This email will include all the details you require for pick-up.  


For quick and easy storage when you get home, we encourage you to bring reusable produce bags and containers to each pick-up.

How do I sign-up for Rochon Garden CSA share?

You can sign-up online or by phone at 613-821-3245.


When signing up, you can either choose from 11 convenient pick-up locations across the Ottawa area or you can choose to have us deliver to your home


Your start date will be indicated in your confirmation email after signup.

How much does a CSA Share cost?


We offer different share options and price points. Please refer to the CSA 2021 or Sign-Up pages for pricing details.

Will I know in advance what will be in my box?

Be sure to sign-up for What's🌱at Rochon Garden, our weekly newsletter on what's coming out of our fields and updates from the farm. The newsletter includes a  list of products in the share and a picture of the CSA share for the week. We also include helpful storage tips and recipes for preparing meals with the produce in your share. 


***NOTE*** Items listed in the email are subject to availability. You will always receive your full value of items in each share but some items may differ.

I don't know what this vegetable is or what to do with it?

Please refer to What's up🌱at Rochon Garden for information about the items in that week's box and for recipes. 

Recipes & storage tips are also available on Our Products, take a look you may find a new family favourite. 

We also encourage you to post questions to our Facebook page where we have a great community of people who are helpful with tips and recipe ideas.

What if I miss a box?

If you are unable to make your pick-up, we encourage you to ask someone to come on your behalf. They simply have to give your name at the time of pick-up.  

Unfortunately, members who forget to pick up their boxes will lose their share for that week, it will be donated to a local food bank.


Please note that replacement shares will not be issued and refunds will not be given.

What if I have vacation planned during a pickup?


You can request to have your box moved to another week.  This request must be sent by email to at least 1 week prior to your scheduled pick-up.


Please include the date of the box you will be missing, the date of when you would like to receive your box instead, and most importantly the name or email that the account is under. 

Please note that shares can be deferred to another week once per season for Half Share members and twice per season for Full Share members.

Can I pick up my CSA Share at a Market?


No, we are not able to have our CSA Shares available at our markets.

Our CSA boxes are made fresh each morning on the farm. There is a lot of preparation, packing and setup involved with having our CSA shares available and ready at our pickup locations. 


For logistical reasons, it would be very difficult for our market locations to also serve as  CSA pickup.


How do I claim my referral bonus?

For each new customer you refer to our CSA program, you will be rewarded. You may choose to claim a free additional box of vegetables during the same season or  to receive a $25.00  refund off when you sign up again the next CSA season.

Please first make sure that the customers you have referred have indicated in their CSA purchase that you referred them. If they are unsure or have forgotten, please have them email

In order to claim your $25.00 referral refund. This will be applied manually by our staff after your purchase. We are a family run business and will try our best to get the referral refunds processed as soon as we can.
